Move to PROSPER -Temporary Rental Support, Life Coaching and Programming

Move to PROSPER (MTP) provides temporary rental support, life coaching, and monthly programs for families for three years. Three years of rental support enables families to live in healthy, quality homes in a safe, higher-resourced neighborhood. Providing access to healthy, safe, affordable housing alone will not provide the pathway to economic independence to women and their children. MTP also provides individual life coaching and monthly programs on MTP's four pillars (i.e., housing stability, financial literacy, career growth, and family health/wellness) and enables heads of households to develop relationships for emotional support and family stability.

Implementation of MTP began with the pilot, which served 10 families. The pilot ended July 31, 2022. The lessons from the pilot help the program refine the coaching model and overall program design for the next phase, which will include the next 100 families and serve to better inform the use of time-limited rental assistance with comprehensive, holistic coaching.
