The Del-Co Water Tudor Scholarship Program supports students residing within the area served by the Del-Co Water system. Preference is given to individuals pursuing degrees in fields related to water, engineering, environmental studies, or closely related disciplines. Each year, two scholarships will be awarded, with a preference for one male and one female recipient.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicants must be graduating high school seniors with their primary residence located in the areas serviced by Del-Co Water.
- Recipients must enroll in an undergraduate program during the academic year following high-school graduation.
- Preference will be given to students pursuing degrees in fields related to water, engineering, environmental studies, or closely related disciplines.
- Two scholarships will be awarded annually, with a preference for one male and one female recipient.
Perry Kent “PK” Tudor retired from Del-Co Water Company in 2012 after twenty-seven years of service, including thirteen as the General Manager. PK also served six years in the military. His experience as a licensed operator, an engineer, General Manager, and board member positions with Del-Co Water have positioned the utility for future excellence. PK and his wife Caroline encourage continuous lifetime learning and this scholarship program will provide future generations with the opportunity to grow. Caroline spent her whole career as an educator and has contributed to the success of the region and Del-Co Water.
