Outstanding Volunteer: Frank Reinhard

 Frank Reinhard is a dedicated leader and volunteer whose impact on Delaware County spans over three decades. As Chief Lending Officer at First Citizens National Bank, his commitment to service extends far beyond his professional role. He has played a vital part in strengthening community organizations, including the Rotary Club of Delaware, the Delaware County Foundation, and the Delaware County Finance Authority. Frank’s leadership has shaped the Delaware Rotary Club, where he has served as Club President and recruited more members than any other Rotarian on record. His contributions to the Delaware County Foundation and Finance Authority have fostered economic growth and community development. His involvement with the Delaware County Fair helped secure funding for much-needed fairground improvements, ensuring the continued success of cherished traditions like the Little Brown Jug. Beyond his formal roles, Frank is a mentor and motivator, inspiring volunteers and strengthening local organizations. His ability to connect with people and drive positive change makes him a deserving recipient of the Delaware County Foundation Outstanding Volunteer Award. Matt Davis, owner and co-founder of CoHatch, has lived in Delaware County since 2005, dedicating nearly 20 years to serving his community. In 2016, Matt and his wife, Jodie Davis, joined with fellow founders Ryan Fogleman, Joel Limes, Elisebeth Limes, Terry Hegenderfer, and Eric Ferch to launch CoHatch—a coworking and community concept designed to strengthen neighborhoods and improve lives. What began as a bold idea quickly turned into a regional movement, revitalizing key spaces across Delaware County and beyond. The team has transformed neglected landmarks into thriving hubs, including the former Delaware Gazette building, CoHatch The Annex, and the historic armory in uptown Westerville. Their shared commitment to building community extends far beyond physical spaces; they actively partner with local nonprofits, collaborate with government and business leaders, and empower people to live purposeful lives. Beyond business, Matt is deeply engaged in philanthropy, supporting causes like My Special Word, CATCH Court, and Flying Horse Farms, where his son spent time as a camper after being diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He’s also working with Star House and the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office to support homeless youth—and has helped direct or contribute to more than $2.3 million in scholarships and resources to uplift students, startups, and nonprofits.

At just 15, Memphis Wilson founded Hope in a Box Ohio, a nonprofit supporting young adults facing homelessness or aging out of foster care. He assembles and distributes care packages with essentials to help individuals transition with dignity while raising awareness about youth homelessness. His organization has provided hundreds of boxes across Ohio, inspiring his school and community to support the cause. Through advocacy, partnerships, and public outreach, Memphis has mobilized volunteers and fostered generosity. Memphis’s leadership proves that age is no barrier to making a meaningful impact. After losing her son, Braden, she transformed grief into action, raising scholarship funds for Olentangy students and ensuring his legacy lives on. Natalie Gray, a student at Olentangy Liberty High School, transformed personal adversity into a movement for Pediatric Brain Tumor Research. Despite her own struggles, Natalie established the Natalie Gray Foundation to raise funds for this underfunded area of research. Through various efforts, including an annual basketball game fundraiser, the foundation has raised over $250,000 to date, with a commitment of $250,000 to the Connect Consortium. Natalie’s courageous and selfless approach has inspired her community, earning her recognition as the Columbus Dispatch Student of the Week. Outstanding Volunteer

Sue Allen has been a volunteer and docent at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium for the last 40 years. She recruited others to get involved and shared her love and knowledge of animals and the importance of conservation. She is the editor of the newsletter, developing the docent program from 100 volunteers to 500 currently and improving the visitor experience. Sue is an ambassador for the community, providing recommendations to out-of-town guests about the amenities our community has to offer.

Outstanding Business

GREIF has the commitment to build a better tomorrow by giving back to our communities today. In accordance with The Greif Way, they strive to create a culture that supports the common good by using their financial and human resources to support charitable organizations that focus on education, health, and social services. In recent years, Greif has been a supporter of numerous organizations in the community including, The Ohio Wildlife Center, The Delaware Historical Society, Stratford Ecological Center, SourcePoint, Recreation Unlimited, Turning Point, People In Need, Habitat for Humanity of Delaware County, The United Way of Delaware County, Main Street Delaware, The Rutherford B Hayes Statue, and The Delaware County Foundation. Outstanding Youth

Tristan Cayce a junior at Olentangy High School chosen for his volunteer contributions to Blessings in a Backpack. He has served over 870 students in over 8 years in multiple roles, ranging from packaging and distribution to grant writing. His demonstration of commitment, purpose, and courage in the service of others is inspirational.

Spirit of Philanthropy

Marilyn Johnson Masters passed away in December 2021, but during her lifetime she led a life of exemplary service. She was an active volunteer, serving as a 4-H leader to hundreds of children, the President of Buckeye Valley Teachers Association, President of the Delaware County District Library Board, and served on the Grandy Hospital Foundation Board. She raised over 14 million dollars from nearly 4,000 donors for the Ohio State University 4-H Center. Marilyn had a passion for education and believed strongly that the community’s future depends on how well we prepare our young people. She created four scholarships with the Delaware County Foundation and at least two others at The Ohio State University. She truly demonstrated a spirit of philanthropy.
