Sponsorship Guidelines
Event Sponsorship Limitations and Policies
The Delaware County Foundation is committed to ensuring that all sponsorships align with our mission and values. Nonprofits must adhere to the following guidelines: sponsorships should not conflict with the Foundation’s objectives, all promotional materials must be approved by our team and adhere to eligibility requirements.
Sponsorships are awarded to nonprofits serving Delaware County.
Sponsorships are awarded to nonprofits for one-day fundraising events, conferences, workships, walks, races and golf tournaments.
Nonprofits may only request on sponsorship per year.
All applicants must be defined as tax-exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) or any applicable statute of the Internal Revenue code.
Award Amounts
Sponsorship awards are available up to $2,000 per event.
Timing
It is highly recommended that your organization submit a sponsorship application at least 90 days in advance of your event. Please note that the amount of sponsorship requests exceed the available funding every year. As a result, the application process typically closes by September.

Sponsorship Recognition
Social Media
When your sponsorship is approved, say “thanks” on social media! Like and tag the Delaware County Foundation on Facebook, or include hashtags #delcofoundation on Instagram.
Public Relations
When publicizing your event please thank Delaware County Foundation. Acknowledge event support in press releases and mention Delaware County Foundation in newspaper interviews, media/promotional appearances and event announcements.
Sponsorship Acknowledgement
On signage, please use our complete logo wherever possible. At minimum, include a text reference to “Delaware County Foundation” on signage.

- Include the Delaware County Foundation logo and link to the Delaware County Foundation website (https://delawarecf.org/) on your website or event page.
- Include the Delaware County Foundation logo in all print and digital media that you produce for internal and external audiences. Examples of promotional materials include but are not limited to, newsletters, eblasts, brochures, postcards, advertisements, educational materials and exhibit signage in accordance with the sponsorship level.
- List Delaware County Foundation as a supporter of your organization or project in donor lists at the donor recognition level most appropriate to sponsorship level.
