Braden Markus Memorial Armed Services Scholarship will be awarded to students who plan to pursue a path of service through either enrollment in Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC), Corps of Cadets, or direct enlistment in the United States Military.

REQUIREMENTS

• Applicant(s) must be graduating high school seniors from the Olentangy School District, with preference given to students from Olentangy High School.
  
• Applicant(s) must meet one of the following criteria:
  • Attend College or University for ROTC or Corps of Cadets
    • Must be enrolled or have been accepted into a two- or four-year college or university with plans to participate in the ROTC program or Corps of Cadets.
    • The scholarship award will be applied toward the recipient’s tuition expenses.
  • Directly Enlist in the United States Military:
    • Must have a confirmed commitment to enlist in the United States Military.
    • The scholarship will cover the cost of uniforms or other approved expenses, with funds disbursed upon proof of enlistment and commitment to basic training.
      
• Scholarship(s) are non-renewable and cannot be extended or transferred to future academic years.
