This scholarship has been established in memory of Mr. Larry Eberst, a graduate of Delaware Hayes High School and Miami University (Ohio). Mr. Eberst taught physical education in the Delaware City School District for 32 years. Mr. Eberst was a selfless, loving, generous, gifted teacher who conducted his life with a great deal of integrity. He served his community by instilling confidence, teamwork, physical and emotional well-being of the many young lives he touched while teaching and coaching.

REQUIREMENTS

* Must be a graduating senior from Rutherford B. Hayes High School;

* Must have a GPA of at least 2.5 or higher on a 4-point scale or its equivalent;

* Must be enrolling full-time in an accredited university or college;

* Consideration is given to applicant’s financial need.
